My Story

I’m a journalist, a mom, and honestly, still just a kid at heart. I grew up in New Jersey but have fallen in love with life here in Austin, Texas. My journey started in the fast-paced newsrooms of NBC and ABC in NYC, followed by an incredible adventure traveling the country as a video producer for Upworthy and HuffPost. After 15 years in the corporate grind, I teamed up with Marc Gordon to launch a journalist-focused production company. At Prototipe Media, we ensure our fellow journalists get the creative and financial credit they deserve, when they adapt their stories into TV and film.

 

When it comes to my photography, I love those real, unscripted moments. You’ll usually find me with my camera at family parties or neighborhood hangs, looking for that sweet, simple magic of kids just being kids—whether they’re busy with sidewalk chalk or a wild game of tag. Forget the stiff poses and bright studio lights; that’s just not my style. I’d much rather jump right into the fun with the little ones and snap some candid memories while we play.
